Tubqal Tifinagh High-Quality Free Font for Tamazight and Tuareg Scripts

Tifinagh is a unique script with deep historical roots across North Africa, yet it remains a newcomer to the field of professional multi-script typography. While its use is growing, there is a significant lack of high-quality Tifinagh typefaces available for designers and researchers. To address this, we are committed to providing accessible, well-engineered tools for the Tamazight script.

Building on the foundation of the Typographic Matchmaking in the Maghrib project, we are delighted to offer the Tubqal Tifinagh bundle for free download. This professional Berber font bundle includes four styles—Regular, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic—and features a Latin character set specifically designed for Tamazight transliteration.

To ensure a seamless visual match in multi-language layouts, Tubqal Tifinagh includes a specialized stylistic set (ss01) for Tuareg characters and a smaller x-height variant for harmonious pairing with Latin or Arabic text.
